Schuessler Cell Salts
(57)Tissue salts are homeopathic mineral compounds, developed in the 19th century by Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler. Dr. Schuessler believed that using these diluted mineral salts would support good health, and the body's healing processes by regulating the mineral levels in our cells. Thus these remedies are also known as cell salts. Being homeopathic compounds, these minerals are highly diluted but, unlike other homeopathic remedies which serve to treat symptoms, tissue salts are nutritive in nature. There are 12 tissue salts, each having different benefits, and there is also one formula containing all 12 salts, which is used to maintain general health. Tissue salts are formulated into lactose tablets, which are to be dissolved under the tongue.
